Ira M. Bernstein,DMD, FAGD         
Dr. Ira M. Bernstein was born and raised
in Elizabeth, N.J.  He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine.  After completing a general practice residency program at French-Polyclinic Hospital in New York City., he was on the teaching staff at a New York City Hospital for many years
and has served as a consultant to Nyack Hospital.  Dr. Bernstein has been treating families in Rockland county for over 30 years.

Dr. Bernstein has special interest and training in cosmetic and implant dentistry.  He has done research, authored, and published several scientific papers in national and international dental journals.  Dr. Bernstein holds a United States Patent for an invention used to help patients with jaw problems.   He has presented lectures to various dental professional groups, including the Greater New York Dental Meeting.  He also has attained Diplomate status in several professional  associations and has achieved Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.). An avid student as well as teacher, Dr. Bernstein attends numerous conferences and courses.  He recently completed an advanced training program in Comprehensive Cosmetic Dentistry at the well-known Rosenthal Institute of New York University School of Dentistry. He is Certified in Invisalign Orthodontics and has served on the Advisory Panel for the Johnson & Johnson Dental Products Company. Dr. Bernstein is married and has two children and two grandsons.  He has been a resident of Rockland County for over 30 years.  He is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and was a former professional musician.   His hobbies now include playing bass guitar and singing lead in a “ doo-wop” band.   For exercise, he does a boxing workout in a local gym “with a bunch of  really old guys, just like myself”.

Dr. Todd W. Auerbach graduated from U.C.L.A. in 1981; from Washington University St. Louis School of Dental Medicine in 1985; and completed a Post Graduate Residency in Cosmetic Dentistry at New York University School of Dentistry in New York, New York. Dr. Auerbach believes in the preventative power of dental care, and is committed to achieving healthy smiles that will last a lifetime. He has been practicing in New City with Dr. Bernstein since 1989.

Dr. Auerbach is a general dentist with advanced training in cosmetic dentistry & implants, and has completed Level III Orognathic Bioesthetics.  Dr. Auerbach works closely with oral surgeons and internationally recognized orthodontists on his reconstructive cases.

Dr. Auerbach sees patients of all ages.  With five children at home, Dr. Auerbach is realistic in his expectations with dental care for children, and calls on his personal experiences with his own children, ages 2 - 12, in his approach.  As a result, the children in our practice actually look forward to coming to the dentist!

Dr. Auerbach is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Ninth District Dental Society, the Crown Council, the Occlusal Concepts Study Club in Manhattan, and is a founding member of the Rockland County Implant Study Club. Dr. Auerbach is also a certified Invisalign dentist.

When he is not working, Dr. Auerbach enjoys sports and spending time with his wife, Layna, and their five children at various sporting events, museums, parks, restaurants, taking trips & quiet time at home.
